'Cockeral'
The 'Cockeral' lino print original card design was produced in the 1980's. Jean Royle experimented with printing her lino cuts onto different types of paper. Here she has used white tissue paper and made the composition more dramatic by dispensing with the decorative backgrounds of the preliminary pencil sketches shown below, in favour of a simply expressed sky and landscape.
Prints of this image are centered on quality A4 white matt 300gms paper.
